Patrick Hardison’s face transplant was performed by upwards of 100 doctors in the USA (2015) It was a 26 hour operation.
He recieved the face from David Rodebaugh, an organ donor, who suffered a cycling accident and brain death shortly after.
Although Patrick Hardison is one identitiy, he has been known in three faces.
Even though his two other faces have ceased to exist, Patrick lives today with the face of someone who doesn’t.
