Motherland, Salzburg Summer Academy, 2021
I've been lucky to receive a grant (by Summer Academy’s jurors) for Rosella Biscotti’s workshop (August 2021).
It's been such a great experience and challenge for me to work with installation and raw material: raw clay and leftover paper and plastic, milk cartons (due to very limited time until the opening).
I have used plastic bin bags and white paper as a depiction of milk (a new discovery for me). This time, milk and blood spread and invaded the room.
Rosella suggested installing my work into a room full of old cabinets which are also connected to the body as a room and the subconscious mind rooms as the cabinets (curiosity cabinets).
